Microsoft SQL Server 2008 RsFx Driver 10.0

Microsoft SQL Server 2008 RsFx Driver is a kernel-mode Windows driver installed with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 to support the FILESTREAM feature. It enables applications to access FILESTREAM varbinary(max) data through standard file system APIs, providing high-performance streaming of large binary objects while SQL Server enforces security, locking, and transactional consistency. By coordinating access between the database engine and the NTFS file system, the driver helps maintain ACID guarantees and integrates with SQL Server backup and restore operations. The RsFx Driver is required if FILESTREAM is enabled and should not be disabled or removed on systems that rely on this feature.
